I. THERE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THOSE WHO HAVE WALKED THE ROAD BEFORE US.
A. WE RE COMING INTO A
LAND OF PROMISED REVIVAL.
Deut 6:10-12
10 When the LORD your God
brings you into the land he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
to give you — a land with large, flourishing cities you did not build, 11
houses filled with all kinds of good things you did not provide, wells you did
not dig, and vineyards and olive groves you did not plant — then when you eat
and are satisfied, 12 be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought
you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

B. THE LANDS MAY SEEM TO
BE FOREIGN, BECAUSE WE HAVEN’T EXPERIENCED THEM FOR OURSELVES OR AT LEAST FOR A
LONG TIME.

GODS SPIRIT.
D. BUT WE MUST RE-DIG THE
WELLS THAT HAVE BEEN DUG BY PEOPLE LIKE,
1. THE EARLY CHURCH SAINTS
2. THE PROPHETS AND APOSTLES.
3. THE HEALING REVIVAL OF THE “4Os” AND
“50's”.

II. GOD HAS A PLAN:
25 "'Have you not
heard? Long ago I ordained it. In days of old I planned it; now I have brought
it to pass, that you have turned fortified cities into piles of stone. 26 Their
people, drained of power, are dismayed and put to shame. They are like plants
in the field, like tender green shoots, like grass sprouting on the roof,
scorched before it grows up.
A. GODS PLAN TODAY IS
JUST LIKE THE ONE HE HAD IN THE O.T., “TO LAY WASTE
TO THE ENEMIES OF SPIRITUAL TRUTH.

VAIN TEACHINGS AND PHILOSOPHIES OF MAN.

6 Let no one deceive you
with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are
disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.

CHILDREN OF

COULD HAVE BEEN IN THE PROMISED LAND IN 11 DAYS. BUT THEIR UNBELIEF KEPT THEM
OUT AND THEY BECAME,
“THE
WILDERNESS GENERATION.”
c. WE MUST BE CAREFUL THAT WE DO NOT
BECOME A “WILDERNESS GENERATION.”
d. THERE IS A MOVE OF
e. NOW, WE DON’T HAVE TO BE JUST OTHERS
BUT WE MUST NOT ALLOW OURSELVES TO BE CRITICAL TO THE POINT THAT GOD CAN’T MOVE
IN OUR LIVES.
f. IT IS INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT IN
THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH AND REVIVAL THE PREVIOUS GENERATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN
CRITICAL OF THE MOVE OF GOD FOR THE CURRENT GENERATION
g. AND THE CURRENT GENERATION HAS BEEN
CRITICAL OF THE PREVIOUS PEOPLE WHO HAD A MOVE OF GOD.
h. THIS SHOULDN’T HAPPEN. WE SHOULD
ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER.
i. WE SHOULD
DESIRE THAT EACH GENERATION GO FARTHER IN THE MOVE.
OF GOD THAN WE DID.
j. SO THAT THEY CAN ENJOY THE WELLS
THAT WE HAVE DUG AND CAN BE FREE TO DIG NEW ONES FOR THE NEXT GENERATION.
k. WELLS CAN BE COVERED UP AND SOME
TIMES WE HAVE TO GET DOWN AND RE-DIG THE OLD ONES.
l. IT’S ALWAYS HARD WORK, BUT IT’S
ALWAYS WORTH IT.

where you stay and when you come and go and how you rage against me. 28 Because

WELLS THAT THEY HAD NOT DUG.
B. FERTILE LANDS — VINEYARDS, FRUIT
TREE’S I ABUNDANCE — HOUSES FILLED WITH ALL KINDS OF GOOD STUFF. AND MORE.
C. OTHERS HAD DONE THE WORK BUT THEY
GOT THE BENEFITS. WHY, BECAUSE GOD GAVE THEM VICTORY OVER THEIR ENEMIES.
3. ANOTHER WAY WE DRINK FROM WELLS WE HAVE
NOT DUG IS BY CONQUERING OUR ENEMIES.

C. FEELINGS OF INFERIORITY
D. BY REFUSING TO ALLOW
E. BY TURNING OUR BACKS ON SIN AND THE
FLESH
