FREEDOM
ROMANS 6
This entire chapter speaks of the freedom
one is bestowed with when you give your life over to God and His
teachings. If we are true joint heirs
with
Through His grace, we are saved and given
this freedom but do we therefore continue to live in unrighteousness and sin
and expect to continue in that freedom?
NO! If we live in sin and
practice its iniquities we are again bound by its results which are DEATH. For the wages of sin is death….
If we embrace this freedom, if we truly
live within it, it is a powerful and inspiring force in our lives. One can operate within the protection of His
will and with a freedom never having known before. When we embrace our sinful natures, its then that we are again in bondage to sin.
So how do you do it? How do you operate with that freedom within
the nature and will of God? It’s really
rather simple. You spend time with him;
in communion with him and his Son. You
spend time in His word, in prayer, meditating in the Holy Spirit. You commit your life to one following after
God and His teachings; you begin everyday in thanksgiving and praise and ask
what you can do for Him that day. You
enter His gates with humbleness and reverence.
You ask for him to guide your way and direct your paths.
When you operate within that Freedom, and
He is in control you will find a peace and happiness that you have never felt
before. Life will make sense to
you. He will make known His purpose for
your life. It is an awesome and
fulfilling experience to feel the FREEDOM of the Father operating in your life.
Ask Him to come into your life today, give
way to let him operate in your life according to his will, the rewards are life
everlasting.
