SEASONS CHANGE; THANK YOU GOD!
In him we
were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who
works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.
In Genesis, when God was
creating the heavens and the earth… He created seasons to separate the year into
quarters, he created the moon and the sun and the sun knew when to go
down. He did this to give order to his
creations. He knew each would have a
life span; they would naturally, as He planned it, have seasons of life where they would have specific purpose
to achieve during that season. It is
absolutely prevalent in each and everything He created.
I am thankful for the
season I am in now with my Lord. He is
showing me and teaching me things I could never have understood or learned
before in my life. He allowed me to come
back, a little weathered, more wise, less prideful, more humble. I don’t ever want to visit that season
again. PTL!... The desert is not a fun place to have
put your self into. The only saving
grace is that He was there with me… without me knowing; He followed me and was
waiting there for me to listen.
He is teaching me to
listen more carefully, more intently… so not to miss it, miss Him. It is not like in my youth. It is more subtle, deeper, more intimate;
purer than before; but more urgent. If I
weren’t so excited to see what is coming I could probably stay in this season
for a long time. But I have learned that
this has little to do, yet everything to do with me. He will send me in His time, according to His
purpose,
not mine, yet He will not send me before I am ready.

The purposes of a man's heart are deep waters, but
a man of understanding draws them out.
The season I am in, is to
listen, to learn His purpose for me. How
I can fulfill His purpose in my life for Him and His kingdom. It is a very exciting time. Every season He has taken me through has been
a learning progression. By the Grace of
God, he has allowed me to learn at my pace.
What better way to learn but by error!
And yet; much better to learn by the word and spirit
of God. Course, this
sometimes takes a few errors to learn yourself to
listen instead of falling off the cliff!
I have said all of this
to say this really… Whatever season you find yourself in, one of learning,
rebuke, healing, whatever it is… thank God for it. Thank Him that he is interested enough in all
of us to have us in a season. Rejoice in
the fact that He has things to teach you, or show you. Not every season is pleasant…. Not every
season can be summer… sometimes the harshness of winter teaches us to start
preparing in the spring. So what season

He WILL show you. Just remember, seasons
change, Thank you GOD!
