Be God's "Computer Virus"

James 1:5 "If you need wisdom-if you want to know what God wants you to do-ask Him, and He will gladly tell you."

   My granddaughter, Terra is a whiz at computers. Although she's only 6, she can teach her 9 year old brother, her mom (a college teacher) and me (her Umma) how to do things we didn't know how to do. One day I told her, "Terra, when you grow up, you can be a computer...." "VIRUS!" she piped in! A "computer-virus"! We all had a good chuckle over that one...BECAUSE IT JUST FITS TERRA!

   God has planted in us, from birth, things we are good at...things that we love to do...things that thrill us when we just think about doing them. These things are God's will for our lives, and fit into HIS plan.
  
1 Peter 4:10 says "God has given gifts to each of you from His great variety of spiritual gifts."
 
   And what's really cool is that once we step into His will for us, we KNOW it! The fear of stepping forward to do what He has ingrained in us...the "job" He's given us, is exchanged for excitement and drive. Do you love to help others? Did you love to help others as a child? That's part of what God's called you to do.

2 Peter 4:11 ".....Are you called to help others? Do it with all the strength that God supplies."

   As a child, and even now, does it thrill you to paint, or sing, or stand up in front of others to talk? There's part of your calling from God! Because it "fits" you.

2 Peter 4:11 "Are you called to be a speaker? Then speak as though God Himself were speaking through you."

   God put a "drive" in us, a love in us, an excitement in us...when it comes to certain personal traits. He gives us a "job" and the love of doing it...because THAT'S God's will for our lives!

1 Peter 2:5 "And now God is building you as living stores into His spiritual Temple."

   God's "jobs" are waiting for us to step up and do. We need to add our piece to His puzzle. We need to add our little "cog" to God's wheel to complete it. And NO ONE can do that EXACT 'JOB', EXCEPT YOU! Your "job" is YOURS ALONE!...and ONLY YOU CAN DO IT! Made for this exact time and place!

Jeremiah 1:5 "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as My spokesman to the world."

   Step into God's will! Step forward in the confidence that God has in you. No one can do that "job" but YOU!

   God's waiting!
