SPEAK YOUR "WORRIES" INTO "WONDERS"!

My grandson is a "worry-wort". Planting some pumpkin seeds, one day, he worried if he'd planted them deep enough ...gave them enough water ...would they get enough sun? He had envisioned a soon-to-be HUGE orange pumpkin, or maybe even two. He worried it wouldn't happen.

"I want a Jack-O-Wantern just wike the picture on the seed pack!" he said.

When he went home, I replaced his seeds with a large pumpkin plant, with two or three medium size pumpkins already growing.

Returning the next week, his eyes became as big as saucers! His "worry" was turned to "wonder". He envisioned it, spoke it, and it happened! (with a little help from Umma). But the point is, it DID happen!

WORRY! It's something we humans learn to do at a very young age. Do we worry out of habit ...when we are bored ...when we are lacking in faith?

The word "WORRY" shouldn't even be in a Christian's vocabulary! The word "WONDER" should be coming out of our mouth DAILY, for that is what God has filled our lives with!

Just pull back a minute...look at your life, from beginning to now. Can you see God's plan to get you where you are ....right ...this...minute? Why did this "thing" happen or that "event" happen?

OH YA! That "event" got me to the next stage of my life....one with more knowledge and wisdom. It will be easier now to move to the NEXT stage. I wasted all that time on those "TENSION HEADACHES" from worry, to get to a place of MORE wisdom! I could have turned "WORRY" into "WONDER" and gotten there HEADACHLESS! I could have skipped the "worry" part!

Shouldn't we be wise enough, by now, not to worry about "stuff" that the BIGGEST, BRAVEST, STRONGEST, MOST POWERFUL GOD can fix, with a blink of His eye or a snap of His finger??

Matthew 6:31 says, "Therefore do not worry and be anxious saying, what are we going to eat....or drink...or wear? (vs.33) But SEEK FIRST OF ALL HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides." (Could this be our "WONDERS"?)

So let's start "WONDERING"!

Don't worry... "WONDER" your rebellious, tattooed, and pierced son into a minister or the next Benny Hinn! AND SPEAK IT!

Don't worry..."WONDER", by choosing to teach Pilates, aerobics, or run the marathon, when your healing is complete! AND SPEAK IT!

Don't worry..."WONDER" if you'll receive the red or the blue Hummer when you sell that "old clunker"! AND SPEAK IT!

So SPEAK your "WONDER" through your MOUTH and PROVE YOUR FAITH!
Reach for those stars, through His "WONDER"!
GOD MADE THOSE TOO, YA KNOW!?
