GUARD YOUR HEART!
GUARD THY HEART WITH ALL DILIGENCE; FOR OUT OF IT ARE THE ISSUES OF
LIFE.
Put away from thee a froward mouth, and
perverse lips put far from thee.
Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Turn not to the right hand nor to the left:
remove thy foot from evil.
We will be using the Amplified Bible, to expand
our study.
GUARD YOUR HEART
WITH ALL VIGILANCE
AMP Prov
Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall
not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth
out of the mouth of God."
It is a necessity to pay close attention to God's Words!
It is necessary to be receptive to God's Word and apply them to our
lives.
As important as food is to our bodies so is the Word of God to our daily
lives!
We are not only to hear the Word of God but apply it to our every
day lives.
We are self deluded or self deceived if we hear the
Word of God, understand it and don't put it into practice in our daily lives.
When the Holy Spirit speaks to us through the Bible or internally
through the inner witness, we should be quick to obey, for our own good.God sent
10% Word 10% success, 100% Word 100% success.
We should place as much importance on God's Word as we do our daily
food.
It is sin to rebel against the Spirit of God's instructions.
The Holy Spirit instructs our heart as to how to live the abundant,
successful life.
KEEP GOD'S WORD CENTRAL
IN YOUR LIFE
AMP Prov
Psalm 119:11: "Thy word have I hid in
mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
Today we are surrounded by a variety of ways to
keep God's Words in our hearts. Some of the ways we can keep God's Word before
us are:
¨
attending church services,
¨
Christian radio,
¨
Christian television,
¨
internet,
¨
video tapes,
¨
audio tapes,
¨
books,
¨
Christian music
...just to name a few.
We have no valid excuse for not having God's Word available nearly
all the time.
Because we are so saturated with the Word of God these days
we should be careful we don't miss out on it's life
changing power; we need to take it to heart.
To hear the Word of God and not apply it to our daily lives is our
own personal loss.
If we have actually applied God's Words to our lives, our lives and
our conversation will reflect it.
Matt
A life of depression, defeat and sin is a sure sign that you
have not put into daily practice God's Word.
Living in the consequences of sin is a clear
evidence that we have not implemented God's Word into our daily lives.
When God's word is first place in our hearts, our life and words
will reflect and reveal it.
We will exhibit the fruits of the Spirit when the Word has been
acted on daily.
Eph 5:9-11 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and
righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

rather reprove them."
HEALING AND HEALTH ARE IN
GOD'S WORD
AMP Prov
Acts
Our natural life has no relevance if we do not incorporate
God's word into our daily lives.
It is our responsibility to seek out God's Words in order to access
the abundant life.
Josh 1:8 "This book of the law shall not
depart out of thy (be removed from) mouth; but thou shalt
meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest
observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."
We are never to leave off from studying and putting into
practice the promises found in the Scriptures. Now lets
look at the other second half of verse....
Vs. 22: When our minds are renewed to the word of God we will
experience God's provision of healing and health for our physical bodies.
If we refuse to let God's word alter, change, or correct our
conduct, we will continue under the curse of sin, sickness, and disease.
It is not God's will that we be sick but rather that we walk in
Divine Health.

Jer 30:17 "For I will restore health unto
thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the
LORD."
When we come to posses the abundant life and apply God's Word
into our daily lives we have a contract or covenant agreement with God that
includes health and healing.
When
We received His righteousness and healing for our physical bodies.

Some teach this is when we get to Heaven, but we won't need
healing in Heaven! Amen?

The human heart has a bent toward sin and that is why God
puts so much emphasis on diligently guarding it. We need to focus not only what
goes into our hearts and minds but what comes out of our hearts also.
The quality of life we live here on Earth is determined by how we
respond to life's issues. We can respond from the abundance of God's Words in
our heart or out of the responses of the flesh and mind.
We must take to heart the Words of God if we are ever to
successfully deal with life's problems. Don't deceive yourself into believing
that God's Word has no value in your daily life.

CHANGE THE WAY YOU TALK
AMP Prov
According to the scriptures the role that our tongue plays in
our daily life is vital to our spiritual well being and physical health.
Rom 3:2 "For in many things we offend all. If
any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle
the whole body."
Negative words of fear, give life to our problems, they reproduce
after their kind.
Positive words, faith filled words,
quoting God's Words will produce a successful abundant life of health and peace.
James 3:6 "And the tongue is a fire, a world
of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth
the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of
nature; and it is set on fire of hell."
Our words do more than we give them credit for, according to
the scriptures if we talk defeat we release defeat.
Matt
1 Peter 3:10 "or he that will love life, and see good days, let
him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile."
There are consequences to our words, if you don't want
something, don't speak it!

2 Cor 5:7 "(For we walk by faith, not
by sight:) We are to call things into existence by the
Word of God."

AMP Prov
When problems arise, our attention is focused on the
circumstances surrounding them, and we tend to forget to implement faith
principles, negative circumstances in our lives tend to demand all our
attention.
If we have not filled our hearts with God's Word we have no
resource to fall back on to get us through the crisis times but we fall back on
the very thing that birthed them.
We need to focus on implementing the promises in God's Word to
insure correction of the problem. Our sins were transferred to
Paslm 103:10 "He hath not
dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our
iniquities."
If sickness or an accident comes, first pray God's Word then
seek medical attention.
Matt
Our deliverance from life's problems is not based on our
worthiness but on the completed work of
Rom 5:8 "But God commendeth
his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
By placing God's Word in our heart we are free from the
performance syndrome, and liberated into the things that God's grace provides.
We most change the way we think about life, we must renew our
thought patterns.
Phil 4:8 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever
things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are
of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on
these things."
God has given us instructions as to what to spend our time
thinking about to live a successful, abundant, prosperous, and fulfilled life.
What do you spend you time thinking about? The
answers or the problems?
Prov
Psalm 37:23 "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD:
and he delighteth in his way."
Hag 1:5 "Now therefore thus saith the
LORD of hosts; Consider your ways."
Prov
Consider this, that your life is a
product of the decisions and choices you have made.
Do you believe the lie that you played no part in the circumstances
surrounding your life?
If we never correct the errors of our way of doing we can't expect
any change to occur.
If we make no change in the way we handle adversity the results
will stay the same.
Prov 5:6 "Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable,
that thou canst not know them."
The Word of God is the final source of success, what we think
about something seems right to us in the natural but God's ways are higher than
our ways.
Prov 21:2 "Every way of a
man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth
the hearts."
Luke 6:45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of
the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that
which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."
Isa 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the
LORD.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher
than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
§
Natural temporal thoughts and actions will produce natural
temporary results.
§
Spiritual eternal thoughts will produce spiritual eternal results.
Psalm 77:6 "I call to remembrance my song in
the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent
search."
We need to search our hearts and see if they are in alignment
with God's Word.
We will reap what we sow:

If we sow carnal methods we will reap carnal results.

If we sow spiritual methods we will reap spiritual results.
Have you pondered, considered, and searched your way of doing
things?

1 Peter 3:10 "For he that will love life, and see good days,
let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no

Our life is not some kind of pawn in the chess game of life.
We can change the outcome of things by application of God's Word to every
situation of our daily lives.
Ecc 8:5 "Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a

Matt 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall

We do not have to live our life at the mercy of circumstance, we can take an active role and alter the
outcome of life's events, blessings and adversities.
We must use the weapon (sword) of the Word of God to
overcome each of life's attacks.
