TWENTY-ONE ATTRIBUTES OF LOVE
1st Corinthians chapter 13 is called "the
love chapter". In this chapter we have outlined for us, the attributes of God
and love. We find that God not only loves, but that God is Love!
1
If indeed we
are born of God, then we will be like Him, in our love for others.
1John
As we discover what love is like, we also
discover what God is like. In the beginning God created us in His image. Since
God is love, man was created in the image of God, or in the image of Love.
Mankind sinned and lost that image. God wishes to restore mankind back to their
original design. We are born again in the image of Love.
Col. 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of him that created him:
This is the test of our faith, whether it be true or false.

The Bible is clear about this fact that we are
born again to be like Him!
1John 4:17 Herein is our
love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as
he is, "so are we" in this world.
