In this world we will
have tribulations, but be in peace and be of good cheer. What?
John 16:33 These things
I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall
have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
It was never the plan of
God that we should fall victim to the worries and tribulations of the world.
1Cor 10:13 There hath
no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who
will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the
temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
We are commanded not to
worry about housing, food, and clothing. These are the things that occupy the
thoughts of the lost world. God our Father knows we have need of all these
things and He will be our provider. When we were children we did not worry
about our housing, food, or clothing, that was the responsibility of our
parents.
God is our Father now and as our parent, it is His
responsibility to provide these things.
Does He promise to meet
all our needs?
