One of the hobbies my husband and I have is wood working.  In 1984 my husband and his brother built a band saw mill as a hobby.  The hobby grew and in 1995 we built a wood working shop.  You can find us in the shop during the year making a piece of furniture or on winter days when the snowmobiling isn't any good.  I also cut wood shapes out to do my decorative tole paint.  I'm not sure if there is a tool out there that we don't have in our shop :))  Here are some pictures of what we have made in the past.  I have also included pictures of my painting projects on the next page.  Hope you enjoy viewing them as I did painting then.  To view a larger version of these pictures, click on them.

Don and his twin brother Dave working on a log.  They set up the sawmill in the garage and store the lumber in a solar kiln for drying to be used later to make some wood projects or for myself when I need it to paint projects to sell or make as gifts.  More pictures coming, so come back soon. This is a picture of a project that we built and I painted the panels on the doors.

This is our brand new kitchen that Don and I built.  I did the stain glass doors.
