Our favorite
wintertime hobby is snowmobiling. We have been over many trails and
stopped in some very friendly places to have lunch. Our trips average
anywhere from 60-100 miles per day.
I bought
a new snowmobile in 2004. I've updated the pictures of our sleds.
Below are pictures I took of some of our rides. Maine is a beautiful
state and seeing it during our trail rides is awesome. Let me take
you to some of them.

The covered
bridge is in Sangerville, Maine. The original bridge was built 200
years ago. On April 1, 1987 Maine had a severe flooding and the original
bridge was washed away. This is the new, and I'm sure, improved covered
bridge. It is also accessible for cars.
Time
to stop for a break. The one on the left is one of the many bridges
that we cross. This one happens to be an old railroad bed.

The first
picture below has Mt. Katahdin in the background... The bottom left
shows a group of deer in the woods. There were dozens of deer in
the area at the time. They were not afraid of the snowmobiles as
they watched us.
The pictures
below are of a couple of snowmobile clubs that we have visited. These
clubs are usually open on weekends only. Good to have a place to
use the potty and get a bite to eat.
