These are our hay bunks- the guys make these, makes for less waste. The keyhole style allows heads in and less hay being pulled out.
More hay bunks- we just started using sand in 2005- under it is ag-lime.
This view is looking east- to the right down
there is the milk room/office. Which we also
store hay/straw on top of it.
As you can see the hay bunks slide right next to each other and are connected on the back side to stock panels.
Here is the holding pen and entrance for the goats in and out of the milk room.
This is the view out the goats door to the pasture. If you can see down there to the right we also have smaller lots for kids & dry stock. And we pen a buck down there in the fall.
View looking in the goat door facing west now. At the far end we have a small pen with a lot for junior kids.
The big boys have a huge pen with lots of grass and room out front of the farm. They have a big shed & also a tree line to lay in the
summer.
We have a few smaller pens to keep young boys in till they become of size to defend themselves then they go in the big buck pen.
I have photos of our buck pens somewhere I will post them
