Shallal quietly lead you over to a small field. Shallal was fairly bursting with pride and fatherly love as he tries explains to you who you are going to see. "My daugther...my first child. Nad and I's..." But he was so overcome with emotion he could hardly speak. Touched by his show of feeling you carefully walk forward at his side until he stops and neighs a minute later you hear a shout of, "Daddy!" A purple-pink mare gallops toward you from over a hill, her brillant wings spread out in a breathtaking display.
Nickering delightedly she nuzzles her father. "I was hoping you would come and visit me today Dad! Who's the traveler with you?" She perks her ears curiously at you. Shallal smiles, "How could I not come and visit my best girl?" He introduces you to his daughter. "This is Cenda'si'chi the other love of my life.." Cenda giggles, "Dad! Can't you just introduce me as your daughter? You always have to add that nonsense." But she didn't seem to mind it a whole lot anyways. Shallal chuckles, "But it's true Cenda...I suppose I could be abit more formal now that you're all grown up..." Cenda gives him a nudge. "Well, Dad I couldn't stay a foal forever..." Shallal nods sighing wistfully, "But you grew up so fast...I had thought we would have more time for foal things." Cenda nods and then chuckles, "Not like I'm going to be your only child father. You'll have more and then...there will probably be grandfoals eventually." Shallal beams, "True, but you will always be my special girl." He gives her a hug with one of his wings. Cenda smiles. "I know." she says simply.
Feeling just abit out of place you sneak away from the father-daughter pair...who else was there to meet?
You walk for about three minutes before another little painted unicorn pops up. Cream white with blueberry blue mane and tail. And two markings like bunches of blueberries on her neck and rump.
"Sella Li traveler! Did you meet Cenda? Cutest little baby I ever saw. She grew up to be a right beautiful lady thats for sure. And her parents, lovely manners though quite unusual appearences. Oh, forgive me I didn't tell you my name, I'm Diergavna it means Blueberry." She tosses her wind blown mane. "Right fitting don't you think?" She smiles at you and you agreed it was. You wondered if there were any more painted unicorns. She shakes her head amused, "No, I'm not the last one." Her eyes sparkle with mirth. "I know more will undoubtedly join us sooner or later. Seeing as Luminaire can't resist bring more of us home. I believe she is hoping to get more like me." She tilts her head, "That is more nais with fruit colors and markings. Though a flower or two will probably come along someday."
Just then the soft thudding of hooves approuching causes Dier and you to turn. Coming into view is a beautiful yeva mare, of white, berry wine, and agua blue colors. Dier smiles, "Sella li Llanaisfa'ishlan. This is a traveler come to visit us." Ishlan lowers her head a kind expression on her beautiful face. "Sella li traveler, it is nice to meet you. I bet you're getting abit tired now from meeting all of us. *chuckles* I don't suppose you've visited the Silent Rainforest yet? You'll probably want to save that exploration until after you've rested however. You think there are many of us Paints, wait until you see all the Leagi." Ishlan chuckles, the movement making her agua blue mane shimmer and sparkle. She walks toward the edge of the meadow and you automatically follow. "The Berry Meadow is next and you'll soon found out why it is named that and why the nais you'll meet there, chose it as their home." Dier chuckles and Ishlan grins, "Though for some reason Dier doesn't want to move there." At that Dier snorts, "What? Spend every minute of the day with those hooligans? No, thank-you...though Teth isn't as bad as the others...I still prefer to keep what sanity I have..." She give you something akin to a pitying look. "Try not to take anything they say too seriously you'll be safer that way." Ishlan laughs, "Oh, Dier stop exaggerating! They aren't that bad! After all I'm sure the traveler is experienced enough to take care of itself." as the traveler in this case you certainly hoped so..though at the moment you weren't quite sure... Dier chuckles, "Ha! You may be right...we'll just have to see." She gives you a wink and then waves her tail in farewell. "See you some other day traveler. Byebye!" And she bounced away back to Cenda and Shallal. Ishlan giggles and nudges you along to the Berry Meadows. "You'll be fine. I'll wish you good luck just the same though." She winks and then turns to follow Dier's path.
