But she quickly moved on with her head: Oasis...Again!
And she mellowed inside counting how many had been the times when they had stepped into her life to take it over, one way or another, and especially since her life had started to belong to Jill.Every further step the two had taken together had been linked to those five blokes. It was almost like a tutorate.
She was reluctant in feeling like she was owing to them anything, since she didn't know them after all, in the real world...But she had to admit everytime she was thinkin about them, happiness invaded her spirit totally, and that the goodness in someway between her and them was reciprocal, as she recived wellness of the spirit through them, while they were getting rich also thanx to her money.
She confided she was going to love them forever.
The airplane was starting to shwirl down to land, and another genre of reflections started to be considered: Jill's parents shapes fixed themselves into her head. What would have been their opinion about her return? and the question wasn't even that one... what would have been their opinion about her return as Jill's considerable "friend"?
Were they going to agree with their relationship, or it would have been a battle between them and Jill's parents?
Melania got anguished, aware such a different affair would have needed the full support of all parents involved: and if she were doubting Jill's ones agreement and confidence in the link, she was just disheartened about her own parents's ideas on the matter:
"With Stefano it all sounded like a disaster, in their words..."
It was no time for bad vibes, and so she tried to forward suppositions ahead. She was about to meet again her own treasure, there weren't spaces for pessimistic preludes.
16h50: Landing on Line 1.
Stairs.
Losing balance.
Splashing on ground missed for a shuffle of the case.
What a return that would have been!
Seeing newly the airport it didn't feel as it had been that day, the wide spaces looked luminous like that day, but not as coldly bashing her. There were again so many people, but they didn't seem to be there to hurt and push her anymore, like then...People weren't there to keep her struck in that queue anymore, like in that day, when she would have so loved to escape the line, and run...It seemed to her no one in the hall wanted to touch her at all, neither any was into her living space to put pressure on her back. But that might have been, that tremendous day, the pain inside makin her feel and see things that weren't really happening, sure...
Yes, she saw the same old place filled with people, but she was able to catch lights living coming out from shops, and she could catch the cafeterias aromas, and she was ready to read from papershops titles and written screams...And that felt right inside her, so pleasant and charming: but those people were still so many, too many, too stranger to her, too filling the space around her, makin her unable to see... to figure out if...
But then she saw him.
