Online Photo Show Series
Our new show series begins in April of 2003, with shows following in July and November, and possible benefit shows to be announced in between. The 2003 Championship Show will take place in January, 2004. Shows are open to MApSHA members only!
Shows are free to enter. Results will be posted promptly 24-48 hours after the judging window closes. Horses may be boarded from one show to the next. Replacement photos must be sent within the entry window for each show (i.e., you want to replace an entry for the April show, then it must be in by the closing date for the July show.) Limit of twenty halter and ten performance entries per stable added each month; one photo per horse per class, please! (i.e., in April, you have twenty halter and ten performance entries, in July, you may add twenty more halter and ten more performance entries, etc.)
Our next regular show will run April 1-April 15th (Entry Window) at midnight EST, and April 20th-25th (Judging Window) at midnight EST. Judging will begin promptly on the 20th, and all results should be posted by no later than midnight EST on April 27th.
All placings MUST be in the MApSHA inbox by midnight EST on the respective dates!
ENTRANTS MUST JUDGE ALL THREE SHOWS TO QUALIFY FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!
The 2002 MApSHA Championship show will take place January 5th-10th, with results posted by midnight EST on the 11th. Entries will be judged by panel as usual. All MApSHA members are expected to judge!!!!
When entering, please include in your email horse's name, color, gender, foaling date, class entered and applicable description in performance classes. No more than five attachments per email, please. All images should be no larger than 350 x 350, jpg or gif format (please keep the file sizes as small as you can!). In future, photos exceeding 350 on any side will be automatically DQ'ed. Also, please be sure your images are in color: in future, any black and white images will be DQ'ed. Images MUST be in .jpg or .gif format (lowercase preferred). Images NOT in .jpg or .gif format will not be registered, and will be automatically DQ'ed. Images with a space in the name (Ex: Doc Holiday) will be automatically DQ'ed.
Remember, these shows are worth double points at year end!
Horses must place in the top three to qualify for the year-end championship. Qualifications will be as follows:
1st-3rd place in BLOODSTOCK is elligible to compete in halter and bloodstock.
1st-3rd place in HALTER is elligible to compete in halter and showmanship.
1st-3rd in SHOWMANSHIP is elligible to compete in halter and showmanship; except Suitability for dressage, elligible for halter, showmanship, and dressage (with new photos, of course!). Cantering entries in Showmanship classes will be automatically DQ'ed!
1st-3rd PERFORMANCE elligibe to compete in performance. Showmanship and Performance entries MUST be accompanied by a description, or they will be automatically DQ'ed!
You are limited to three CH/RSV placings in any of these "divisions". After that, please let the rest of us have a chance! LOL
