Sometimes at night when I talk to the Lord

I say well, I really blew it today.

I had a chance to witness

And I didn’t even pray.

 

Lord help me never do that again

And when I meet someone during the day,

Let me never miss another chance

Give me the strength and words to say.

 

I know you have to be sincere with God

You can’t just talk the talk,

You have to let people see Jesus in you

That means you have to walk the walk.

 

When you fail to be a witness

Of give a hand to your fellow man,

If you don’t tell him about Jesus

His blood is on your hands.

 

Tell someone about the Lord

Every single chance you get,

You’ll find your life is so much richer

And doing this you'll never regret.

 

This is why God saved us

To spread the good news around,

So don’t be ashamed to tell all you meet

And in you his love will abound.

 

God has heard every excuse that one can make

And I’m sure He has heard different ones from you,

Why we don’t witness when we have the chance

And believe me I’ve given quite a few.

 

Just lean on Jesus and people will know

Who your Lord and Savior is,

And at the end of the day you can have peace

Loving Jesus and knowing you’re His.
