I don't want nothing here to hinder me
Form meeting my Lord in the air,
Cause I got a feeling when He comes
I am already going to be there.
Lord, As long as I am here on earth
I want nothing to stand in my way,
Empty me of self and search my heart
As I serve you from day to day.
There are many things that can bog your mind
And get you confused and down,
The devil knows just what to do
Don't listen; rebuke him when he comes around.
Cleanse my mind, my heart, and my thoughts
Lord, let there be a glow about me,
I just want your light to shine
So when people look at me, it's you they see.
Every room in my life I want cleansed
Every corner, crack, and shelf,
Cleanse everything in my life Lord
I want you to shine in my life, not myself.
