MY COUNTRY
And not just men
and women going to war,
We don’t have to
loose all the lives
Of our men and
women in service any more.
We need to fight
for what God gave us
Fight for the right
to be free,
Stand up for the
moral standards
That now does not
seem to be.
Our moral standards
are all we have
God gave them to us
it’s what we needed,
But it looks to me
as if they are dying
Moral standards are
almost depleted.
Unconstitutional,
that is what they are saying
About our pledge of
allegiance to the flag of the USA,
Now they are trying
to get God out of that
What is happening?
Why do they feel this way?
God gave us the
greatest country on earth
I for one will
defend it with great pride,
And as far as my
flag, I am proud of it
Service men and
women! we have relied.
MY COUNTRY…
My nephews served
their country
One in the U S Navy
for 32 years,
His wife and two
sons missed him
And I am sure there
were lots of tears.
He served in
Vietnam, Iran
And anywhere they
sent him he had to go,
He was willing to
serve his country
It was a secret
sometime he did not know.
My Father,
grandfather, Brothers too
Served their
country and did with pride,
And I have heard
them say time and again
For their country
they would have gladly died.
My husband,
cousins, Uncle and friends
They risk their
lives for you and I,
They can’t even
draw social security
That is sad, I
wonder why?
America is my
country and yours
I love America and
what it means to me,
It someone doesn’t
change and soon
America will not
long be free.
MY COUNTRY…
Our leaders have
enjoyed their comfort
And freedom but
forgot why they are free,
We voted them in
thinking they were for us
But they have
forgotten you and me.
Taxpayers are
paying the bill for this
And they are
throwing it all away,
Taking Prayer out
of school now our flag
Taking little by
little every day.
We better start
taking a stand
And start letting that
devil know,
The one inside of
us is greater
And at the name of
Jesus he has to go.
All alone we can’t
do much
But is we join
together we can,
We can make a
difference you know
If only we would
take a stand.
You are not safe in
your home anymore
America is not what
it use to be,
There is abuse,
killing at an all time high
Oh God, bless us
and keep us free.
MY COUNTRY…
America is the
greatest country in the world
I live here and I
love the USA,
I pray God speak to
our leaders
And bring God back
to stay.
There is a lot that
is wrong with America
But remember it is
all man made,
Deteriorating
morals and a don’t care attitude
Who else had to
suffer or what had to be paid?
God bless President
George Bush
I admire him for standing
for what is right,
If we had more like
him in office
We could sleep
better at night.
I don’t want to end
with a negative note
There is still a
lot of good in our land,
Pray before we put
our next leaders in
The ones we have
are afraid to take a stand.
The next time, you
hear them talk about
Taking our pledge
of allegiance and flag away,
Think of all the
ones who gave their lives
If living, for them
it would be a sad day.
MY COUNTRY…
Do you know anyone
who died in war?
Or was injured,
crippled, or maybe blind,
Was it for
nothing? That they fought
You can do
something about it and it’s time.
Please the next
time you vote for our leaders
Pray and let God
help you make your choice,
Don’t let anyone
tell you how to vote
You are an American
and you have a voice.
