Because you’re at my right hand

No matter what my trials may be

I know I’m never forsaken.

 

You answer when I call on you

You hear me when I pray,  (Isa. 65: 24)

You show me the wonder of your great love

You cover me with your blood each day.

 

Keep me as the apple of your eye

In righteousness I’ll see your face,  (Psa. 17: 8)

Keep me in the shadow of your wing

I depend of your mercy and grace.

 

In my distress I called upon you Lord

From your temple you heard my voice, (Psa. 18: 6)

You reached down and lifted me up

And now my soul does rejoice.

 

Oh Lord if you kept a record of sin

Who oh who could stand,

But by your grace we’re forgiven

I trust you and I’m gonna hold your hand.
