I was sitting at my table this morning

And all of a sudden the room got so bright, 

I raised my head and looked outside

And there it was, "Beautiful Sunlight".

 

The Lord knows just what we want

And even when I need it, and you,

If we would let him control our life

We'd see great things and be happier too.

 

He knows when we need a little rain

He knows when we need a little sunshine,

He knows always what is best for us

He knows what I need, I'm glad He's mine.

 

I'll be glad to share Him with you my friend

It's enough of Him to go around,

I'll introduce you, He's at the foot of the cross

That's the best place He can be found.

 

He paved the way from hell to heaven

And He shed His blood all along the way,

His name is Jesus, and He's so wonderful

He'll forgive you, get to know Him today.

 

There is a lot to say about forgiveness

It's like a weight being lifted off of you,

So if you harbor ill feelings against anyone

Please forgive them whatever you do.

 

You can't stay mad at someone

If you pray for them long enough,

Your heart begins to soften

Then you find you're not so tough.

 

What if Jesus had not forgiven us

Of all the wrong we've ever done,

But He forgives anyone who asks

We are not His only one.

 

It is so comforting too know

That no matter what you've ever done,

He still loves you and forgives you 

He could do no less, He's God's son.
