Do you lack wisdom? Boy I sure do

And I ask God for it almost every day,

I don't ask for money of power

I'm already blessed in so many ways.

 

God's wisdom is the key you will find

That will unlock every door of your life,

It will turn your failures into success

It will help you deal with your strife.

 

Lay out your problems before the Lord

Not that He don't know what you go through,

Just be quite then and let the Holy Spirit

Give you peace as he ministers to you.

 

When you take your problems to the Lord

We have to let the Spirit of God advise you,

Pay attention to what he says in his word

Often the word is what the spirits speaks through.

 

Sometimes we let the cares of the world

Choke the word of God right out of our hearts, 

We need to read the word daily

So get your bible now and start.

 

If you see the supernatural results in your life

If you want your deeds to be blessed,

You will have to do more than just read the word

Put the word into action so you will stand the test.

 

One of many things I must learn if I want to be

A faithful servant to my Lord that I love,

I must learn how to keep my mouth shut

I can accomplish that only from power from above.

 

I am so glad you are always here Lord

And I'm so glad you listen to me,

And you always reveal things to me as well

Things that before I could not see.

 

Help me Lord to be obedient

And help me be patient and kind,

And Father help me never forget

Who lives in this heart of mine.
