Dear God, It has been a little over a week since you took my dear friend Miss Gilda home. I miss her terribly, but I know she is walking with you, pain-free, and singing joyfully with the angels. I wish I had been able to tell her how much she taught me, by example, to have faith and to trust in you completely. When things seem hard, and I want to give up, I have only to remember her courage and faith to lift my head up, look to you, and keep on going. Take care of her, God. Tony called her "a saint here on earth", and that's what she has been. Keep her close, and tell her I'll see her when I've finished my work here. Love, Colleen
