Well, you can find out! All you have to do is, (with your bare foot), step into some paint and then step on some paper, leaving your foot print. Then examine your foot print. Look at the part that's inbetween the ball of the foot and the heal of the foot. There should be a thin band connecting the two. The wider that band is, the lower your arch is. And the thinner that band is the higher your arch is. Or if you don't have any paint lying around just get your foot wet with water nd go walk around on your driveway. Hey, That's how I did it! If your interested, my arch turned out to be one and a half inches wide.
Something Very Helpful
Keep a ballet binder, box or notebook. Put things that are important to you which pertain to ballet, like:
*Pictures
*Quotes
*Goals
*Stretches/Exercises
*Corrections/Things you need to work on
*Steps in a dance you can never seem to remember
*Important certificates of acheivement
*You get the idea!
It's very helpful to have something like a binder that you can go to whenever you feel like stretching or just feel like looking at personalized ballet stuff! It's an easy way to feel orginized. So give it a try!
