• Assemblee=to assemble
• Bourre=to stuff or to fill
• Brise=broken
• Cloche=bell
• Couper [koo-PAY]=to cut
• Demi=half
• Developpe=to develope or expand
• Echappe=escapping
• Fondu=to fade-in or fade-out
• Fouette=to whip
• Glissade=to glide
• Glisser [glee-SAY]=to slip or slide
• Jete=to throw out
• Plie=bend
• Pointe=at the peak of
• Pas de chat=jump of the cat
• Saute=jump
• Tendu=stretched
