These are some preview photos of clocks that are not yet finished. Some still need veneer repairs, or other mechanical work. Some are merely project clocks that are patiently awaiting restoration.

Wooden Works Chauncey Boardman, pre-1839. These photos are just of the case, but I also have the original wooden movement, hands, and bob. It does need a new replacement glass, which I will paint by hand. UPDATE: The glass has been painted, but I'm not sure if I like it. I'm still looking for an original gong and base to match the original shadows. It did not have a bell as pictured.

A Miniature Brewster & Ingrahams Ogee. I need a movement (found one), dial and parts to complete this clock. It was purchased very inexpensively as just an empty case. It's a rare size.

Dual Chime Westminster / Whittington by Gustav Becker. The entire clock was damaged in the mail. I never got any money back from the insurance. The clock is largely done, but it's still not in good working order. I have the hands for it (not pictured).

HAC Westminster / Whittington. Again, this is a photo of just the case, the movement needs cleaning, but I have it, along with the original hands.

Rare 8 Day Lyre Movement Seth Thomas Column Clock (Plymouth Hollow era). This one is awaiting restoration as well (UPDATE: Case has been restored). It still needs a lot of work done on the movement (lots of botch repairs).

Smiths Mantle clock. This one only needs cleaning, and new clicksprings.

Boardman & Wells wooden works clock. This is a restoration project that's still in progress. At this point the clock case is finished, it just needs a complicated reverse glass painting. I'd like to find a correct movement for it as well, since the current one is just a placeholder (wrong manufacturer).

E.N.Welch / JC Brown 8 day ogee with lyre/Acorn movement. This is also a restoration project that's waiting to be done.

Carl Werner Vienna clock. This one is now finished. The movement has been cleaned and is in excellent running order. The case had to be treated for woodworm infestation, then reassembled and touched up.

Austrian Portico clock. This one needs MAJOR work. The entire case will need to be stripped down to bare wood, and I will have to start from scratch if I ever hope to make this clock look passable again. It has been completely butchered. The entire clock was covered in a thick plaster and then a horrible orange glaze. It will be very hard to remove it, so I will have to do the best I can. It will also need a glass bezel. It has grande sonnerie striking.

Peerless 1/4 strike ting tang on gongs. This sad clock has some serious/bad modifications, and I need more tools to be able to properly repair it.

Waterbury Mini ogee. Needs a dial, hands, etc.

This old Ansonia Cast Iron clock was given to me by a good friend. As you can see, it will need a LOT of work. It needs to be fully stripped, cleaned up (rust), then repainted. The movement is there, but it's missing the pendulum, the hands, and some mounting screws, as well as the dial bezel and glass.

Samuel Terry Wooden works clock. It needs only a new top made, and to have a glass painted for it. The movement and case will need cleaning, and various repairs, but overall it's complete, and in good shape. UPDATE: Case is restored, just needs a tablet painted.

A lovely Waterbury Beehive clock. It needs a good deal of restoration. I have stripped it, and partially disassembled it, but it's been on the "to do" list for years now.

Here is a case for an early Seth Thomas wooden works clock. Most would see this as an unsalvageable pile os scrap wood, but that's not the case. I have a nice dial for the clock, and I have since then, stripped it, and made all the missing top pieces. It's missing a door, which I'll have to make and veneer.
A very early Seth Thomas wooden works clock case. It is in desperate need of repair. I don\'t know if/when I\'ll get to it. photo STbeforecleaning.jpg

"Cupid" Iron Front Clock. It's currently just an empty case. The movement that was with it was wrong, and totally rusted beyond help. It needs to be stripped and redone in gold. UPDATE: the original front was a hideous blue, and I've repainted in in rich gold. I found a movement that fits, but the pendulum length is wrong and I will need to look for another movement.

Smiths Lantern Clock. This one is all done, but I need to resilver the dial, and I might also silver the fake bell.

E.N.Welch Mini Ogee Clock. This one is done, and a correct antique gong and base were found for it. The original glass is broken, but it was retained.

Vienna Clock (Project). I have no plans drawn up for a case yet, but I have a nice, complete movement. I actually have SEVERAL orphaned movements that need cases built for them.

There are a lot more projects not shown here...
