Additional Information: The clock was completely painted in an awful brownish orange colour. Removing the paint, and revarnishing the case was the only big restoration done on this clock. After removing the old paint, I saw that the case had three repairs to it. One finial top was newer, and there were two veneer patches (both well done). One on the lower corner of the door, and on the right side of the base (on the front).
