New Haven Tambour Clock

This clock didn't look at all like this when I got it. It had a paper face on it, and it was the wrong size and style for the clock, so when I took it off, I found the original dial. The dial was worn out in some spots (the 11, 12, 1, and 3 were all missing) but I could still see the numbers on the metal, so I repainted them.

The movement on this clock is very nice, and it cleaned up very well, however, it had been SATURATED in oil by the previous owner.

The clock is an 8-day time and strike, made by the New Haven Clock Co. The gong on this clock is very deep, and it chimes very slowly, which is nice.
