Rice w/ Noodles

1 tblsp. Butter or margarine
1 tblsp. olive oil
1 medium onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cups regular long-grain rice
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1/4 tsp. curry powder

1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt
1 heaping cup of medium noodles

1- In dutch oven over medium-high heat, in butter and oil, cook onions and garlic until golden, about 5 minutes. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2- Add rice, mushrooms,curry, pepper and salt; cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in broth and heat to boiling. gently stir in uncooked noodles.
3- Pour mixture into casserole; cover and bake 30- 35 minutes until rice and noodles are tender and all liquid is absorbed. Fluff rice and noodles with fork before serving.
