White Sauce
2 tblsp. butter
2 tblsp all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
1 cup of milk or half and half
Makes 1cup
1- In 1 qrt. saucepan over low heat, melt butter.
2- Add flour, salt, pepper and paprika to melted butter. Over low heat, stir together until smooth.
3- Gradually stir in milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and smooth. serve hot on cooked vegetables , fish, poultry, seafood or hard boiled eggs.
