On December 26th, Parkcrest Christian Church was blessed by an amazing choir from a distant land... The Leone High School Swing Choir from Leone, American Samoa treated us to their beautiful songs and gave us a morning to remember. I didn't get to take many pictures, but here are the ones I did take...
Elijah (and me)
Elijah Tavai is one of the soloists in the choir. He is in his senior year at Leone High and has a truly beautiful voice. He came in second on "My Idol", their version of "American Idol" and it's easy to see why when you watch him sing. It's obvious that Elijah is passionate about his music, and more importantly, he's passionate about God.
