Corporal Works of Mercy

Everyone knows the seven sins. The seven virtues are a lot more complicated, partially because there are more than seven. One set of seven is called the seven corporal works of mercy, or seven things that the medieval religious thought would be virtuous to do for people less fortunate than us. Heavenly Virtues

The seven heavenly virtues are composed of the combination of spiritual and natural virtues; these virtues were not defined in opposition to the seven deadly sins, but were codified at the same time. Virtue, Or, Seven Things that Might Happen to Buffy and Faith

Happy endings do happen, sometimes. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, post-"Chosen"; Angel the Series, post-"Not Fade Away."

Contrary Virtues
