- a bunch of mini figures that I want [some of which I own and have reviewed].

Name/URL

Move over Safari woman, these 2 more to the top of my favourite list. I'll start with the Chinese Warrior Monk. This one is a G2 (Generation 2) Alpha Male figure... Whats the difference? Well it has 2 extra points of articulation in each arms and legs. This makes room for even better & more life-like poses, which is handy for a Monk as you'll want to put him in some Bruce Lee kung-fooey positions :) Unlike the Beta Female figure the body size doesn't differ from that of the G1 Alpha Male. It is however a bit smaller than that of the Omega Male. Okay now for the weapons and stuff: It has 4 poles (2 short, 2 long), with 4 caps which you attach to on the ends of the pole and then attach 1 of the 5 pole blades. There is a concave/convex blades, a spear head, a chucky blade and a spear/concave combination (seen in the second image). There are 2 swords a sterotypical chinese blade (the one which is in the first image) & a chunky sabre/scimitar type. There are also 3 knives/daggers (2 of which are the same, one of them is in the first image). To wrap up the weapons is a disc-type hand weapon with 3 spikey blade bits on it and and fan, whether or not the fan is a weapon I don't know, but I have seen fans as weapons [Mortal Kombat anyone?]. There are 2 different types of hands for this figure aswell. There are the normal types and then there are these 'extended finger' types (seen on the left hand in the 2nd picture). There are also 2 types of 'hats'. There is the sterotypical china-man hat and some hair with a long moveable plated pony-tail. To wrap the Monk up, is my first piece of clothing for my Stikfas... a robe/kimino-style dress.Uber Coool. Now for the Phantom. This one sticks out in the Stikfa range as he is CLEAR! Yep, he's transparent, which is suited for the ghost/phantom look. The Phantom is an Alpha Male body, so this completes my collection of all types of Stikfa bodies. So what does the Phantom contain? Well it has 2 sets of arms. One is the regular Alpha male [which are clear] and the others are for use with the Grim Reaper style cloak he also comes with (seen in picture 3). So what about weapons/equipment? To complete the Grim Reaper look he comes with the huge scyth. The only other weapon is a huge 1 handed broadsword. He comes with a ball and chain, with attachments so that the chain can either attach to his arm or leg, and the chain has 3 moveable links. There is a pumpkin, with stalk stick [but i can't get it to attach to the neck peg], a lantern and a 3 piece candle holder [with lit candles :)], a pair of glasses or goggles, a goblet, a cowboy hat & a crown. They also both come with the standard decal sheet and postcards. Any complaints? Well having the clothing on them, makes it a little bit harder to move then into different poses, and getting them off them is a bit tricky also. The pumpkin head is a bit odd as there doesn't seem to be enough space for the neck peg to click into place. Is it better value than the others? Yes and no. Yes as they look more cooler and I now have a stack of swords, but the Safari Female still has the bonus of having that Jungle cat :) Now I'm looking for the Samurai and the Knight with his horse!

The Beta Female Safari with Jungle Cat is pretty damn cool. The inclusion on the kitty is what tipped the scales when choosing between the gundam kit [the kit I saw isn't the same as the one I have posted here, not MG] and the Stikfa. Anyway this is what you get: You get the Beta Female figure [she's smaller than the Omega male, like her arms are thinner], the Jungle Cat and a TIKI MAN! The tiki man is cool... its basically a base body with a decorative head-piece [which can be used put on the omega or beta figurines instead of their current head]. The Jungle cat is my favourite, it comes with 2 heads one head with its jaw open and the other not. The equipment that the Beta female has are as follows: an Akubra and Safari hat, a Travel Backpack, Shoe pieces [makes it look like she has boots on], 6 Little Pockets, 2 Revolver Pistols, a Grappling Hook [very cool, she's hangin from my bedroom light at the momment, you need to supply your own string though], 2 Whips [one rolled up and the other let out], an old school 1900's Camera with Flash Holder, a Machete, a Boomerang, an Oil Lamp, a Dynamite Detonation Box [unfortunately no dynamite :(], a Telescope, a Rifle and a Water Canister. She looks good with the whip and the rifle, but the rifle doesn't work well with the larger Omega male figure. There is also a decal sticker sheet and a couple of postcards included in the snap-lock stickfa bag. Any complaints? Well the smaller size of the Beta Female is a bit weird and some joints are little too loose for my liking and arms can easily come off while bending them in a different position. The only complaint about the jungle cat is that its tail contains 2 pieces and the joint between them is very loose so I only have 1 tail piece attached... so its tail is much shorter than it should be, but it doesn't look funny or out of proportion so its all good. I think its a little better value than the Omega Male, mainly because it contains 2 figures. All I need to do now is FIND THAT SAMURAI STIKFA!!!

Cool ain't they... if there was a Spiderman version I'd probably buy it... I might look into other Playmobil sets. I didn't download the picture of the evil Hellboy Playmobil for some reason.

Black Ham Gear and Panda Z vinyl toys. I found the at the ToyboxDX site.

Haven't seen any Megaman models/toys for awhile... but then again I waasn't looking... The ones on the right are Megaman X. It be cool if those Stickfas came with Megaman bits... maybe a custom build is in order :)

Not poseable, unless you count his built in drawer... cool none-the-less.

More stickfa... the samurai guy [what i want to buy next] and some 'coming soon' stickfas [ninja, villain & superhero]

The first image is the omega male soldier that I have. He's green [not done in that sick camo paint job shown] and the bits and pieces are black not grey. It comes out of a trapezium shaped box in 4 pieces which you need to twist/bend/cut out... much like a plastic kit model. I discovered that twisting/bending the pieces out, is bad as it makes the plastic turn white. I suggest you use a heavy duty pair of scissors or wire cutters. Once all the pieces are out of its rectangular plastic frame, you have to refrain yourself from snapping it all together and spend a little time with a scapel/blade getting rid of the little bits of plastic where it was attached to the frame. Trust me its easier to do this now before you put it together. Once all the joint things are smoothed down you can enjoy the 5 seconds it takes to snap the thing together :) The guy stands at about 3.5 - 4" or 9- 9.5cm tall, its kinda smaller than your average figurine, but it has heaps more poseability. In fact some joints are more poseable than others, but with a little bit of play the stiff joints should loosen up a bit. It comes with 2 sets of bodies, 2 sets of upper arms and 2 sets of thighs. One set has square holes to attach items [pockets, knife etc] and the other set has no holes at all [good for the decals]. Weapons wise, it has a small rifle [shown], chain gun, huge machine gun [m14?], flamethrower gun and cylinders [attaches to back], mortar and 1 mortar grenade and knife. Other bits include helmet, night vision goggles, a couple of water canisters, a few pockets, a thing which somewhat resembles binoculars, a portable radio [shown on guys back], a stand to mount the huge machine gun/chaingun on and these 2 'L' shaped bars which I haven't a clue to what they are used for. Also in the box was a snaplock bag too keep everything in, plus 3 postcards with the stickfa guys on them and of course the stika decal sheet. My only complaints that I might have with it, is that its a little small than I expected, the goggles didn't fit, so I had to scrape a bit out of them so it would fit the guys head and there are no instructions. Its pretty much self explanitory to put together, but I'd like to know what those 2 'L' shaped bars are supposed to be used for. A picture on the box with everything assembled would be suffice. I'll look on the net to see if I can find out what they are for and I'll get back to you. Otherwise it was $13 well spent.
