This is your chance to send Windsor City Council the message that you support their position against the CUPE in current negotiations.

Facts:

This is not an anit-union statement.

The city employees are fighting for something which does not have public support.

City of Windsor employees are fighting for something which is not reasonable in today's economy.

City workers are fighting for something for which our children and grandchildren will have to pay.

Current employees of the city will continue to receive free lifetime medical benefit after retirement which is transferable.

New hires will not. (It is an unfortunate reality but we cannot afford to support this benefit. We see companies like the Big 3 struggling today because of contracts negotiated in years gone by.)

 

 

Send an email stating that you are against the strike. Please provide your name. These will be compiled and sent to City Council.
