The feel of speed, the amazment from that first drop, the sheer feeling that you get being so close to the edge, yet so far to not even care. Its an enjoyment that many have not come to terms with. Yet for major coaster enthusiasts the thrill is never settled, the void is never filled. For these select few the roller coaster is seen as more than just a cart on wood or steel. It's seen as an oasis, an escape from gravity, a means to get away from one's normal self. Plainly put its not just a ride to them. Its life.
