"Does A Kangaroo Have A Mother, Too?"

This book has a focus that is shared by all of Eric Carle's books.  The main character in the book is essentially the reader. The reader is asked a repetative question over and over with different animals and their mothers. The end is endearing and reassuring for any toddler or young child reading the book. Also, becasue the text is repetative, a very young child can "read" the book themselves. This book is a wonderful source of love and self-confidence.
