The Robertsdale wallaby (Macropus americanus) is a medium-sized, herbivorous marsupial, the only wallaby species found naturally outside of Australia. Once numbering in the hundreds of millions and traveling in herds that stretched beyond the horizon as far as the eye could see, the wallaby is now critically endangered. After years of relentless and unregulated hunting, this magnificent animal is now on the brink of extinction.
