Hello my name is Nichelle. I'm a normal kid, but in 2009 I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. This condition left me hospitalized 5 times, including once for a surgery. The Child Life specialists at the hospitals are able to do a lot, but the art supplies in particular are recycled from one patient to another and often in the case of crayons are broken incomplete sets.
With Crayons for Kids I look to provide fun activities, art supplies and small toys (all brand new and just for the one child) to the kids who are sick and in the hospital. Being in the hospital is hard, I want to make it a little easier. With your donations I can have the money to buy: crayons (the idea that started this page) , dolls, stuffed animals, etc.
