Over the course of six movies, the role of Darth Vader was played by a number of people. In the primary trilogy that created in 1977, actor James Earl Jones was the voice for Vader while David Prowse played the standard scenes and Bob Anderson performed Vader in fight scenes. Sebastian Shaw plays the role of the unmasked Vader and the departed but redeemed Darth Vader in his first form, Anakin Skywalker. In the prequel series that launched in 1999, the role of Anakin Skywalker was enacted by Jake Lloyd and Frankie Ryan Manriquez to show the young Anakin growing up. Later in the same series, Vader is played by Hayden Christensen for episodes two and three. George Lucas set up an antihero so large it took 7 actors to incorporate Vader in all of his Dark Sided evilness.   Click On this site just here.

Lucas also penned initial characters for Luke and Han Solo that the spectators never got to see. The part of Luke was originally authored for a girl and Han Solo was originally written as an alien. Then Lucas switched the part of Solo to that of an African American human. Solo ultimately wound up being an ordinary ole' white guy.

The role of Luke Skywalker was played by Mark Hamill in the initial "Star Wars" trilogy. In "Star Wars: Episode 1- The Phantom Menace", Skywalker is a baby, played by Aiden Barton, the infant son of Roger Barton. Roger Barton was the film editor.

Hamill carried out most of his very own stunts for the role but enabled a stunt double to get sucked out the window in the Cloud City for episode six, "The Empire Strikes Back. The identical stunt double stepped in for the last movie in the original trilogy, "Return of the Jedi". The stunt double was Colin Skeaping and Hamill allowed him to be his stunt double for the scene where Skywalker jumps off the slab then jumps back on. Skeaping also did the scene where Darth Vader tried out to take out the bridge with his light saber. Colin Skeaping also completed stunt work on "Indian Jones and the Temple of Doom", directed by Steven Spielberg. In the beginning, William Katt also tried out for the role of Luke Skywalker.

The part of Princess Leia was taken on by Carrie Fischer in the original series. The role was almost offered to Terri Nunn, who eventually became the lead singer for the band "Berlin" in the 80's.

Han Solo was portrayed by Harrison Ford although Burt Reynolds, Kurt Russel, Nick Nolte and Billy Dee Williams all auditioned for the part. Ford wasn't even regarded till later on in the casting procedure.

Han Solo's partner, Chewbacca was taken on by Peter Mayhew in the original trilogy and in "Star Wars: Episode 3- Revenge of the Sith". He has been reported to have said all he had to do was stand up to get the role because they wanted someone very lanky to take on Chewie. Mayhew is 7 ft 3 in tall.   Click through the up coming internet page today.
