The Idiot is a nickname given to Jacob Winstead (born September 12, 1985[1]). He is a pro gamer and clonk from the swamps of Louisiana. He is most notably known for beating Machine at WCG USA 2009. He currently resides in New Orleans, LA.

The Idiot is one of the top ranked American Starcraft players, having placed fourth in the USA World Cyber Games in 2009 and beating the top ranked Zerg player, Machine. He has also notably defeated Aerials in Street Fighter 4 with the character Dan. The Idiot continues to play for Team Evil Geniuses and bops clowns weekly in clan wars.
