When is it?
Sunday 26th April 2009. Leaving from Wilton Shopping Village Car Park at 7:00am.
Mission briefing will be held at 6:45am so please arrive on
time.
How long will it take?
It's expected to take 4 - 4.5 hours one way. Allow at least an hour or two at
Land's End.
How far is it?
212 Miles one way. 424 Round trip, obviously!
Can I spend more than £100?
It wouldn't be in the spirit of The Bulldog Run if you did, but no one's going
to stop you taking part if you spend a bit
more. For instance, you could buy a car for £100, then spend more money on some
parts or repairs, which would be
acceptable.
Do I have to stay with the rest of the teams?
Not if you don't want to! If you want to put your foot down (or just can't keep
up) you can go it alone, and just meet at Land's End.
There aren't any rewards for getting there early, or penalties for arriving at
Land's End late.
What if I break down?
You won't. Well, actually, you might. In which case you should have bought a
better car. It's up to you to organise getting your car to
Land's End or home. Refer to the home page for details of scrapping your car
should you need to.
Did you mention Checkpoints?
In order to keep the journey time to a minimum there will NOT be any
checkpoints. Drivers can head straight for Land's End.
What about the journey home?
Please yourself. You can drive however and wherever you want. You don't even
have to come home! Time allowing, there may be
celebratory drinks at the Hampton Inn once back in Salisbury.
What's the prize?
Bragging rights. Photo on the website. Free entry to the next Bulldog Run (if
there is an entry fee to generate a prize).
Will there be any more events?
