Kansas wins the NCAA Championship
Mood:  happy

Kansas won their first NCAA Championship since 1988.  It was such a great game to watch even though I didn't like either team.  The reason i was pulling for Kansas was because they beat my team UNC in the final four so i wanted UNC to have lost to the National Champions.  Earlier monday at school everyone was guessing who they thought would win and what the score would be.  I told everyone that it would be kansas 75 to 70 at the end of the game.  I was very close i was 2 points of the game ended 75 to 68 in Kansas' favor.  Stinks that the Heels lost but hopefully everyone will come back and they will be loaded with the 3 freshman coming in.

Men's NCAA basketball tourney
Mood:  happy

As many or you know I am a UNC fan and they are doing pretty good in the 2008 NCAA basketball tourney.  In the first three rounds UNC's average score per game was 111.something.  Their average win margin was at least by 25 points.  In the regional finals UNC played Louisville and won by 10 I think but it was closer than all of the others.  That is not necessally a bad thing because the team needed a challenge before their Final Four game against Kansas.  UNC's next game is Saterday April 5, 2008 against Kansas to see who gets to the Championship game.  GO HEELS!!!

UNC Wins ACC Tournament
Mood:  happy

The ACC Tournament started out on Friday March 14 for the UNC Tar Heels.  They played against the Florida State Seminoles which they won without any trouble.  The second round game they played against the Virginia Tech Hokies which they barely pulled it out with the winning shot of Tyler Hansbrough's on the right baseline.  After Hanbrough made the shot he did the goofiest dance running to half court.  I way that when you are the National Player of Year you can dance how you want to.  In the championship game on Sunday March 16 the Tar Heels beat the Clemson Tigers by five the final score was 86 to 81 with Wayne Ellington as UNC's player of the game and K.C. Rivers as Clemson's player of the game.  Ellington had 24 points on 10-13 from the field with 4 rebounds and 4 assists.  Tyler Hansbough had 18 poinst and 11 rebounds and was named the tournament's MVP.  Good Luck Tar Heels in the NCAA tourney.
