La Girardière is an ancient French stone house in the Deux Sevres, in the region of Poitou Charentes, which has been tastefully renovated and converted into three comfortable gîtes amidst the charming French countryside.

La Girardière is set in five acres of land and has its own swimming pool, children's play area, boules pitch, table tennis and table football.

The many local footpaths allow exploration on foot or by bike. For fishing enthusiasts, there are the river and well-stocked fishing lake nearby.

There are many places of interest to visit. Half an hour away is Mervent, which has a small Zoo, climbing adventure park, the Parc de Pierre Brun, canoeing and forest walks.

The Marais Poitévin, where you will find a network of canals, with many marsh land birds and wild flowers.

1 to 1½ hours away are La Rochelle, Futoroscope, and Puy du Fou, which are all well worth visiting.
