On my tradelist pages...:
- All prices are in US funds.
- The book value refers to the current Beckett Hi column value.
- The Asking column contains the price I am selling each card at. The /trade part means that I am also willing to trade that particular card. If the word offers appears instead of a price, it means that I am unsure of the value of the card, but am open to reasonable offers.
- Numbers in the Comments column in the form xxxx/xxxx represent the serial numbers on the cards.
Trading Guidelines:
- I prefer to trade for cards found on my wantlist, but I will trade for other cards, depending on what they are and their value.
- I will usually only trade cards worth $75 or more for other cards worth $75 or more. For example, I might trade a $100 card for an $80 card and a $20 card, but I wouldn't trade a $100 card for two $50 cards. In other words, if I trade something from my high-end tradelist, I would need something to put on my high-end tradelist in return.
- I will only make trades that are close to equal using Beckett Hi column values. Don't expect me to trade greatly in your favor just because you have something I really want.
- I usually don't make any partial cash/partial trade deals, but may consider them depending on the circumstances.
- I may need to ask for some references in the case of larger trades. I've made the mistake of not doing so in the past, and this is only a precautionary measure to avoid being ripped off. I don't mind being asked for references myself.
- When a trade is made, each party pays for their own shipping charges.
- Unless there are circumstances which prevent it, I expect that once a trade is agreed upon, both parties will send the cards as soon as possible. I do not need to receive my cards before sending yours and I see no reason why you should need to received your cards before sending mine.
Buying Guidelines:
- Most of my cards are for sale at less than half Beckett Hi column value. Most prices are not negotiable.
- For items of lesser value, the buyer pays the shipping costs (to Canada). Shipping is free for items of greater value.
- When a purchase is made, the cards are not sent until payment is received.
- If payment is not received within six weeks of purchase, the cards will no longer be reserved and will be put back up for sale.
- Cheques, money orders and US or Canadian cash are acceptable payment methods.
Selling Guidelines:
- I usually pay no more than 10-15% of Beckett Hi column values for cards, or up to 20-25% if it's something I really need.
- When I purchase a card from you, I will send payment in whichever form is best for you, and expect that cards will be sent when payment is received.
- References may be asked for in the case of larger purchases.
