With portable problems
intermittent love
makes things a little better
but only momentarily
merrily, merrily
going to work
the nine to five shift
if you saw your boss on the road
you wouldn't give him a lift
you'd lift one of your fingers
and hope that he knew who you were
so you'll never have to call him "sir"
again, and then he throws you out
in the street
enjoying freedom momentarily
merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily...
This is another little thing I jotted down in my notebook. We encounter
problems all throughout life, but there are certain things that make it worth
living. Even if we only dream about them. Life has its perks.
