gullible and willing
to put anything on
that’ll raise money

often got herself jailed
for a place to stay 
it was the cheapest place
around

she used to dance ballet
and play the piano
and she’d always say
she couldn’t wait to travel
around

From what I heard
she O.D.’ed and she died
in a hospital bed
with no one even by her side
none of her kin ever came
around
