PAWNS OF PARANOIA

I got something, I can't stand
the New York streets don't sleep too well
all have had some unknown values
for the kindergarten spectators
who haven't been used yet
but you can bet
that they're futures 
are being planned

From the first step you take
they find their grounds to set the stake
and there's a custom made amalgamate
of ideas planted and prepared
to send you out to delegate more
giving you little time to explore
on your own
for your sake

They pull the strings, hard as they can
till you dance the steps that they began
projecting their products, swinging their mallets
and bringing them down to set more stakes
to set you off-balance, falling their way
watching you night and day
your biggest fan
