PRE-DETERMINED "SOULMATE HOPPING" GAME

She made an unintended sacrifice
wearing a Romeo mask, he seemed so nice
in the end she wound up paying the price
He wasn't worth the price she paid
She didn't see the same game he played
With every girlfriend he's made

She was blinded and couldn't see
What was coming distantly
In the future, silently
Something later, yet very near
Not heard by the human ear
Something even dogs can't hear

Statistics shout, yet he denied
That he would ever leave her side
and She believed him, though he lied
and it's not hard to fall for looks
Bite well-baited, dangling hooks
And criticize unopened books

She found out soon that he was not
The man that she had thought she got
And because of this she ought
To find his new unknowing flame
And explain to this poor dame
The biased rules of his twisted game
