Forgiveness, knight’s medal Given over time Corroded feelings Hide behind and penetrate A sacred wall of bone, Blood, and thoughts Escaping through shots Of misty words A dirty sign of truth Is not as seems As it sits beneath And on its course A Trojan Horse Should I say “Open wide?” Remembering Past the pain When this dog walked Along the trail Tail wagging, senses Piqued with pleasure thoughts Until a certain rabbit came And stirred a mix Of fear and wonder Pouring out in several spots And blamed it on the spoon Obviously meaning a Simple conscious cleaning When the truth can run and hide
