Writing is exciting to me inviting words inside my brain and putting them on paper sometimes it's not significant to things that I've experienced sometimes I just like the way a word sounds and it fits in well with other words That's the way John Lennon was That's the way Bob Dylan is there's many books written on Dylan's writing which, to me, are not exciting it's a waste of time to analyze and ask exactly what it means "What is it that they're trying to say?" I mean, it might be fun to analyze but don't insist that you are right when you really think about it everything has an underlying message commercials could just say "Spend your money on us" "Give your money to us," churches could say "and we'll tell you that you're okay" now don't you go and read that wrong I am not against the church I just admit the way it might be and I wanna keep my soul as long as I can I haven't sold it to any certain religion If God wanted me to I'd belong to one now it's easy enough to jump to conclusions when you see or hear something like the Orson Welles radio production that's what causes the worst of the problems I'd like to write without any worry things aren't always as they seem I could say something like "I'd like to stick a pair of scissors in somebody's throat!" when if I actually saw that I'd probably faint so (WRITE) the wAY yOu Wa-nT to; write imagine whatever you want to imagine but don't accuse me of writing what you imagine and don't tell me I have to write the way you do 'cause then I might as well be you 'course it's only a piece of my opinion but is it for sure? Can you be certain? after all, it's only something I've writtenMy Favorite Links
