Many people have always wondered "Who is Sootaput?" {At least I hope so! :)} Well here I am in person to tell you! ~bg~
Sootaput is a kitten of the Jellicles. See her story Here! but she is more then the little black kitten that follows Tugger around and gets angry when someone hurts him. Yes, yes she is.
Sootaput is a kitten with a large temper. I mean LARGE temper. She also has some small magical powers but doesn't like to advertise the fact....enough blubbering about the character, you've all come here to meet
The Woman Behind the Cat!
My name is Kit Fischer. Carrie, if we must get into specifics. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada (For all you Yanks out there! ~LOL~).
I first became interested in Cats when a tour of it arrived in Calgary in the summer of....my grade 8 year....1997? I'm not sure...anyways. My choice for birthday was HUGE party with a fondue...or tickets for my mother, a friend and myself to Cats! Well, you can see what choice I took! ~L~ After I saw it I became extremely obsessed. So obsessed my friends threatened to disown me so I gave up my obsession. Yes, it's true. I packed up my cats things and put them away in my closet.
I lived a somewhat normal life (I said somewhat didn't I!) until I believe it was October. My dearest friend Lorianne called me up and announced that Cats was on television later that night. Can I say "Excited"? Well after that night it began again. I made a large show of whining whenever the telecasters brought up buying the movie with a pledge but my parents remained oblivious. Once the show was done and I had thouroughly scared my mother I went to bed. (I had school! Honest!) When I arrived home from school the next day my mother hauled me off the computer to talk to her. I came up the stairs and she held something behind her back. "Guess what I found today." she smiled. "If it's what I think it is I will literally kiss your feet!" I responded. That is how I recieved Cats on video.
Soon after I began the labouring task of getting other friends hooked so I wouldn't be alone in my infatuation. It began with Lorianne, then came Sara (Some might know her as Enigmatat), then there was Alex (She became obsessed earlyer but never openly). I attempted to assimilate Maggie but she is now scarred for life and is afraid the "Satanic Cats" are out to get her...(Little does she know...)
I then started discovering how many Cats Fans there were throughout the world with the discover of the internet and it's wonderful pages. (check the link page!) I began recieving e-mails from other Jellicles and I didn't feel quite so alone anymore...(Don't ask I'm all sappy right now)
Then I decided I should create a page of my own. My own world of Jellicle Cats to call home. Soon I discovered my secret Jellicle inside, dearest Sootaput (~Bops Amyflit~I discovered you later! Shush!). And so began Sootaput's Cats Page. I had lots of time on my hands back then so I created "Sootaput's First Stand". I got great reviews from my friends so I posted it on my page. The crowd went wild. I decided to open my page to other writers of Fan-Fics that they might have thier chance in the sun as well. Well! I don't think I've ever been so swamped! Stories upon stories invaded my e-mails and I'm still fighting to catch up! That's why I'm so slow in posting your Fan-Fics. So please, be kind. Don't send me e-mail bombs because your fic isn't up in a week. You may find your fuzzy little butts burnt a touch black. (bad Sooty! Don't make me say such evil things! ~ZAP~)
I was recently involved in my school's production of "Comedy of Errors" where I played Dromio of Ephesus. Yes...~Sighs~I was a guy. I was told by one and all I did a great job which is a major confidence booster! ~bg~ I'm hoping to be even more involved in the plays that happen at my school next year and as that occurs I'll add more info here!
