        " True Friends"
        By: Jennifer Miller

        What are true friends?

Are they the people who are always there for you?
Are they the ones who give you hugs and and comfort you when you are down?
Are they the ones who say alot, by saying nothing?
Are they the ones who can comfort you when no else can or will?
Do they always know when a smile or a hug is needed?
Or when it's best just to sit and listen?
Are they the ones who take you out and have fun even though you don't want to?
Are they the ones who know when just holding you is best?
True friends can be any of these things, but a true friend to me is, ALL of these things! and Much more!

A wonderful friend of mine sent this to me at a very low point in my life. I had lots of stuff going on, and it was a very hard thing to deal with. *hugs* Thank you Zanny & Glen for opening your home to me. Thank you "Mom & Dad" for opening your life to me. *hugs* Thank you Rich for always being there for me.

        "Letting Go"
        By: Author Unknown

To "let go" does not mean to stop caring: it means I can't do it for someone else.

To "let go" is not to cut myself off it's the realization I can't control another.

To "let go" is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.

To "let go" is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.

To "let go" is not to try to change or blame another, it's to make the mostof myself.

To "let go" is not to care for, but to care about.

To "let go" is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.

To "let go" is not to be in the middle, arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.

To "let go" is not to deny, but to accept.

To "let go" is not to nag, scold or argue, but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.

To "let go" is not to adjust everything to my desires, but to take each dayas it comes and cherish myself in it.

To "let go" is not to regret the past, but to grow and live for the future.

To "let go is to fear less and love more.

Another awesome friend of mine writes a lot of poetry. But I have chosen my favorite poem that he has written to give you a sample of the way he writes! You are the greatest David! :-)

        "Untitled"
        By: David Brown

        Something deep inside of me
        Never knew what it was
        An emptiness, a lacking
Part of my soul left incomplete

I've found that which I thought was lost
        That which closes the void
        A blessing in my heart
        Unknown prayers answered for all

Something was lost, but now is found
That special day when again we meet
        All the darkness vanishes
My soul, will then be complete

I want to thank David, for writing this poem in honor of me finding my sister! *hugs* I love it, and am sending a copy of it to her! :-)
